About the Bloggers
I am Don Kaczorowski, one of three official DNR State Fair bloggers, and member of the communications division within the DNR.
This is my second State Fair as a DNR blogger. Over the course of the State Fair, I hope to share with you my experiences in a light-hearted way.
Greetings! I’m Jessicah “Jess” Powers, one of a trio of DNR State Fair bloggers. I’m a 2010Young Hoosier Conservation Corps participant spending my summer and part of the fall in the Communications division with the DNR. This is my first State Fair as a DNR blogger.
I’m a native Hoosier, born and raised in Greenwood, and I love my home state. I consider myself incredibly lucky to live in a place where there is a great diversity, not only where people are concerned, but where wildlife and ecosystems are concerned. I’m a huge advocate of native species conservation, so expect plenty of posts from the wildlife-related events! Read our blogs, then come out and visit us! We’d love to see you there.
Hi I’m Krista Coy and as a member of the Young Hoosiers Conservation Corps., I have proudly spent my summer working for the DNR in the communications division. Between internships and the occasional hiking excursion, I attend Franklin College majoring in Journalism.
Like many Hoosiers, I look forward to the 17 days of summer when I can divulge my senses with everything Indiana. Between loud concerts, deep fried delicacies and the smell of native livestock I will be making my way to the DNR building more than a few times to satisfy my other two senses with hands-on activities like fishing and sights of wildlife that makes up our beautiful state. With that, there is only one thing left to say … bring it on Indiana!
